Nordhuset (English: The North House) has been a ‘pipe dream’ since I was just nineteen years old. I used to work for the National Trust in England, and this important institution gave me my first taste of working in retail.
I have lived in Oslo for nearly four years, it’s a fabulous city... which is just as well because I’ve spent more time here than I ever intended to (thank you Covid19). Fast forward, and now Nordhuset has evolved from a quirky retail store to an e-commerce store.
You’ll still find Nordhuset at certain markets, through Handmade in Norway, on instagram etc… but our home is here, online now… well for the time being.
